Blaine Admin DE&I accountability

(1) Create a feedback look with Blaine Administration + DEI Community (share out on all the good work that is being done)

Set up monthly meetings with the Blaine Administration for sharing of

(2) Work through the best way to support students + teachers when incidents occur

Aligned with the Blaine Equity team on the first draft

Blaine Parent Outreach + Education

(1) Launch DEI Spirit-wear in collaboration with Blaine Administration, that the whole school gets to enjoy!

Worked alongside Admin, Friends of Blaine and Ms. Welling the Art teacher to create a memorable project for the whole school!

(2) Host regular 'DEI Meet-ups' to get to know other members of Blaines diverse community (have an idea...share it!)

Hosted a few meetups, need to determine right cadence

(3) Be open + listen to all voices - create a space that is safe for Blaine community members to bring issues to the table

Working to get our message out to all parents, collaborating with the Friends of Blaine (FOB), PTA and Kfund.

DEI Committee Outreach

Increase DEI committee members and collaborate with other DEI minded speakers or committees!

Supported Coonley in their Juneteenth celebration, looking to do more collaboration in the 2022/2023 school year!
